Boundaries
3rd semester
My 3rd semester project at AMD Berlin was a sportswear/streetwear collection inspired by Chinese films and cosplay and bondage.
Everything was taken out of context, both color and material wise. Boundaries can have many meanings. They can be a line that marks the limits of an area, but it’s up to the individual if they choose to respect it or ignore. They can mark the border between two distinct worlds but bringing them together gives them endless possibilities to create.
In this project no boundaries were set to the imagination, it was let loose. The comfort zone was left behind. The unexpected was made and things were taken out of context. At last, fabric was tied down to keep in place. The result was completely new idea with ties to the original concept.
